5 semi-finalists were selected in Round 1 Judging to receive $20,000 each and enter the Virtual Accelerator.

Semi-finalists developed their proposals into designs for ResearchKit studies with coaching and mentorship from experts in app development and mobile research.

Semi-finalists participated in a 2-day, in-person boot camp in Cupertino, CA with experts on research, app design, and ResearchKit.

Semi-finalists submitted Round 2 Submissions and presented their designs in-person to the jury at Semi-Finalist Presentations at RWJF in Princeton, NJ.

2 finalists were selected in Round 2 Judging to receive $100,000 each and advance to Finalist Incubation and Testing.

Finalists will develop their designs into prototypes that will be piloted with test users using Apple’s TestFlight. Finalists will submit Round 3 Submissions that include a final report of preliminary learnings from user testing, data analysis, and plans for full development.
